The Vietnam Maritime Administration has officially issued Decision No.1227/QĐ-CHHVN, dated 25/08/2020 on increasing the capacity to receive ships at Pier 2 – Vinh Tan International Port, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. Accordingly, the tonnage of ships accepted in of Vinh Tan International Port is up to 30,000 DWT
Unloading of super-sized and over-loaded cargo at Vinh Tan International Port
From 25th August 2020, Vinh Tan International Port can receive international ships imported equipment/structures or exported goods such as fly ash/slag, construction stone, loka stone…with a tonnage of up to 30,000 DWT in the port of loading.
This decision also marks a new development step of Vinh Tan International Port, paving the way for the development of the import-export market of Binh Thuan province in particular, and the South Central region and the Central Highlands in general
