On the morning of July 3th, the ship Chipol HuanGhe, with Hong Kong nationality, carrying equipment for the Thai Hoa wind power project (Bac Binh district) docked at Vinh Tan International Port. The ship has a weight of nearly 37,000 DWT, a length of 188.34m and a width of 27.76m.
This is the second ship, carrying 9 sets of wind power propellers and bodies for the Thai Hoa Wind Power project.

Both Thai Hoa and Vinh Tan International Port are members of Pacific Group. When put into operation, Thai Hoa Wind Power Project will be one of the largest terrestrial wind power plants in the country. The plant has a capacity of 90MW, includes 13km of roads, 18 wind turbines, 7km of 220kV transmission lines, an operating area – power station, and a synchronous technical infrastructure system. The plant is built on an area of more than 1,000 hectares.
As for Vinh Tan International Port, in recent times, the Port has affirmed its position and potential, to become the top choice for Renewable Energy projects in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan areas. In addition, the output of goods passing Vinh Tan Port is also remarkably diverse, including Titanium ore, equipment for thermal power, wind power and solar power, agricultural products and construction materials to serve economic development, and more.
