Mitsui O.S.K. Lines finds cooperation opportunities with Vinh Tan International Port

On July 4, 2019, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL) from Japan paid a working visit to Vinh Tan International Port (VTIP) (member of Pacific Corporation). The purpose of the visit is to find opportunities for MOL ships to transport coal imported from Indonesia to make cargo at ports. In addition, the delegation also explored the possibility of exporting woodchips from enterprises in the region through Vinh Tan International Port.

MOL is a Japanese logistic company, headquartered in Toranomon, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the largest shipping companies in the world. MOL fleet includes dry cargo ships (bulk carriers), liquefied natural gas carriers, Ro-Ro Car Carrier ships, tankers, container ships.
 

VTIP and MOL discussed issues relating transportation through Vinh Tan International Port

With a favorable geographical location in the Central and Central Highlands of Vietnam and an operation capability of approximately 8 billion tons cargo per annum, Vinh Tan International Port is an essential link in the logistic chain connecting journeys, facilitating investments attraction, further the development and integration process of Binh Thuan, South Central and Central Highlands of Vietnam.
