To celebrate the Anniversary of Binh Thuan Province’s Liberation Day, Binh Thuan People’s Committee and Pacific Corporation solemnly organize Grand Opening Ceremony of Vinh Tan International Port (previous name Vinh Tan General Port) in Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province in the morning of the 20th April 2019.

Participating the Grand Opening Ceremony of Vinh Tan International Port are Mr Tran Thanh Man, Party Secretary, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Nguyen The Ky, member of the Central Party Committee, General Director of Voice of Vietnam, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of Bình Thuan Provincial Party, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai, Chairman of Binh Thuan People’s Committee and representatives from Ministries.

Vinh Tan International Port is invested by Vinh Tan International Port Joint Stock Company (a member of Pacific Corporation). The port is constructed on an area of around 140 ha, with investment capital of around VND 2,300 billion. The objectives of the port are meeting the demand of general cargo importation and exportation, satisfying socio-economic development of Binh Thuan province, neighboring provinces in the South Central and Central Highlands. The Port is designed with scale of one 3,000 DWT terminal, two 50,000 DWT terminals and one 70,000 DWT terminal for the future development.

The port being put in operation will contribute to promoting investment attraction, satisfying the instant demand for cargo transport of local enterprises and entities in Binh Thuan province and neighboring provinces, facilitating local budget and creating more employment for labors. In coming time, Vinh Tan International Port will become one of the highlighted construction of Binh Thuan province for mobilizing investment promotion, regional connection, a gateway for domestic and international trade.
