First Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh paid a visit to Vinh Tan International Port

On September 21^st 2019, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, member of the Politburo of the Party Central Committee, First Deputy Prime Minister led a delegation of the Government and Binh Thuan Province to pay a visit to Vinh Tan International Port – a key project with the role of connecting provinces, facilitating the socio – economic development of South Central and Central Highlands of Vietnam.

Mr. Truong Hoa Binh highly appreciates the important role of Vinh Tan International Port in connecting and developing the economy of Binh Thuan Province, South Central and Central Highlands.

Reported to the First Deputy Prime Minister, leaders of Binh Thuan Province said: Vinh Tan International Port connects to other transportation infrastructures being invested like North – South Expressway running through Binh Thuan Province with over 160km in length, Ho Chi Minh – Dau Giay – Long Thanh Expressway, Long Thanh airport and the southern key economic provinces, resolving the external transport issues of Binh Thuan Province, being a development leverage for Binh Thuan to invest and establish logistics system.  

Vinh Tan International Port has 4 terminals as designed, including: one 3.000DWT terminal, two 50.000DWT terminals and one 70.000DWT terminal with an expectation to upgrade to 100.000DWT, helping to shorten the transport distance, reduce the logistic time, increase competitiveness for key commodities of the region such as  bauxite, alnium, agricultural products, tea, coffee, dragon fruits…

Vinh Tan International Port connects to 50 exporting processing zones, industrial zones in Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dak Nong, facilitates the investment attraction, economic development of South Central and Central Highlands.

Vinh Tan International Port is invested by Vinh Tan International Port JSC (a member of Pacific Corporation). This is one of the first Ports to be invested and operated by a Vietnam private enterprises with advanced technical infrastructures.
